1970 Satellite coupe (Roadrunner tribute) 383 4bbl

Post by 70Plymouth »

Hi all,

Thought I'd share my pride and joy

Its a 70' Satellite, built as a roadrunner tribute with 383 and 4 speed and Vit C orange

8-)

It came with some horrible Rota GTR drift wheels on :( which I have swapped out for Steelies thanks to NorthHantsTyres

Had interior stripped down and rotten floor all welded up, seam sealed and painted.

A lot of wiring work done too, still have a complete new loom to do but haven't got round to it yet

Its had new single wire alternator, new bat, headlight relay loom, RHD headlights, LED front indicators (hellcat style), new under dash gauges, tic toc tach and probably a lot more that I can't think of at the minute.

Check out my Wheelwell profile for more pics and details on upgrades

Getting used to driving, but battery died due to dodgy alternator/volt reg so thought I'd get a checky pic

Now runs great :D and has proper number plates

Hope you like

Welcome to the club :thumbright:

Tough looking car, and you are clearly handy with a welder.

Thanks :thumbright:

If I'm being honest, it was my mate who did the welding in exchange help around his farm. I had a go but need more practice before taking on as much as needed doing

That was it. It's a 70 Road Runner but the original 383 is long gone. I'm in Coleshill so no too far from you.
