Ohhh No thats terrible news. I'd seen a post that he had been in hospital with Pneumonia.

Oh no! Only recently met him for the first time when I had some bits shipped over. Seemed a sound bloke and was a pleasure to deal with

Never met Steve, only via the tinterweb.
He was nice enough to help me out with some technical questions when I was in my teens and just starting to get into cars.
He always told it how it was straight down the line and I admired that.
Real shame. Far too young.

Steve was a very good and long freind of mine, what he did in his small workshop was amazing, he will be missed by many.
