I know there's at least one MOPAR related run to Brighton so thought I would ask here if anyone has any info.

We have a wedding to go to in June in Brighton and I have been asked about taking the Demon. My only reservation is safe overnight parking (Friday and Saturday) and wondered if anyone is local down that way and has any knowledge or advice :read2:

I see there is an NCP but it says drop the keys and they do the rest, yeah righto' no thanks  cant quite see me giving someone else the keys

Actual wedding is in Balcombe then back to Brighton seafront.

Cheers, James.

The NCP and other multi storey car parks around the Brighton Centre have quite tight spaces so I personally wouldn't take my pride and joy into one of those. I have always managed to find a space along the seafront in the evenings, particularly up towards the Marina. But I'm afraid that's as far as my knowledge goes, hopefully someone else will be more help.

Yeah, I've had to use similar in London with the work van so there's no way the Demon is going in one of those.

I normally park on Bedford street which runs inland off Marine drive. If you go over the lights and up the hill there is plenty of metered parking at a reasonable weekend rate. I have used the NCPs in the town centre a good few times and it's much more expensive and not ideal for something larger.

Parking in Brighton is a nightmare, and very expensive. I certainly wouldn't leave my car in a NCP.

If you don't already have accommodation, I'd suggest finding a hotel with private parking. There are some that have underground car parks on the sea front, e.g. the Metropole. Try booking.com and apply the parking filter.

Or park for free in one of the residential roads off Upper Dyke Road, and get the bus back into town (10 mins).

Failing that, you're welcome to park it on my drive in Newhaven, 12 miles away. Bus back to Brighton takes about an hour.

Cheers for the offer, Adam. Very kind. The reception is at the Metropole as it happens but at nearly a grand for two adults and two kids for one night  I'll have to look elsewhere

I'll keep looking for other places but at this rate I might as well drive home and spend the money on fuel

I think just evening parking will have to do, I'll speak to the hotel, surely they've got to love a wedding car ;)
