Late Model Challenger

Hi Guys I am back yet again living in the UK. I reluctantly sold my nice 1972 Challenger 383 Hurst car that I rebuilt at our home in Seattle. I was going to bring it back with me to the UK but knowing I wouldn’t have a decent garage to keep it and work on it I sold it.
Back in the west coast last year I looked at an A body but with limited work facilities again I decided a no go. Moving up a couple of months and now back in the UK I really missed my Challenger, I also had a new 2014 as a company vehicle so I decided that would be my choice, so I have just purchased a 2015 as a daily driver, a purchase from Miami.
My US company car was a Challenger 3.6lt Pentastar and gave extremely good gas mileage so I chose the same for the UK. I would have preferred a Hemi but with gas prices in the UK no way…
The vehicle is being unloaded at Felixstowe over the weekend and should be available for pick up this coming week.
Are there any late model owners on this forum to connect with?
Cheers, Xbrit

Yes, there are quite a few late model cars in the club, including Chargers too!

good to see your back on the forum. Really enjoyed the two years I had with my 2008 Challenger.....only thing I didnt like was what I think is really poor rear visibility. Other than that great thing to have on the drive 8-)

Thanks for the replies.. I found the same issue with rear view, on a Camaro I also had it had a rear view camera, its standard on the 2015 SXT plus, but not the base model I have.
There's a nice supercharger kit available from the USA that gives 430hp at the rear wheels a lot lighter than the Hemi too.

Been living with my Late Model Challenger now for a couple of months (V6), fully compliant in the UK now and as my P38 Range Rover is temp out of commission I have been using it as my daily driver, County Durham to Gaydon. My overall gas consumption is averaging a shade over 32 mpg, town traffic and M1 a little different from my Ebody 383 I had in Seattle.
Cheers,
xbrit
