copper header gasket
Bought some Maxx copper header gaskets with o rings does the raised ridge around the ports face the engine or away from it and which side do the o rings go.

no idea really
but I usually go with the o ring presses against the part that is being torqued down.
the bit you are torqueing down is usually more prone to distortion, and the flat side goes against the BIG solid thing you are bolting something to.
I could be totally wrong, and it probably doesn't matter, as the flattening effect of the o ring will work at its base on one side of the gasket and at the top of the ring on the other.. i.e you get a good seal either way.
