The colour is actually Dark Metallic Green believe it or not :? the Cali sun has done quite a number on it. The car only came from Cali in October so it's having a bit of a baptism of fire (or should I say cold) with our country's lovely weather so far. As soon as I find the right man for the job she is going to be resprayed the original colour, hopefully something along the lines of Britsh Racing Green. :)

Mark
Have a look at this colour chart, see if theres mention of any of the colour codes on your fender tag.
If you say it was dark green, might find an F8 stamped on it, that seems to be the darkest green.
Keep this jpeg, might prove useful when you come to look for new paint.

It should be on the inner fender near the battery, if you fing it and post a pic we can decode it :)

also if the interior is original pull the back seat out and look for a broadcast sheet, the holy grail for us Mopar lovers LOL

First, let's discuss fender tags. The fender tag can be found on the driver's side inner fender on most models

I made this little drawing of my own tag a while ago for my message board. The position of the codes marked is correct for a 1969-70 Hamtramck Plant built car. It is still a guide to look at tags from other years and plants.

Steph & I had a very nice visit from the Sat's today complete with car :P

I had a good poke around and a drive and I am happy to report the car is very solid throughout including the trunk. I can also report that the car drives really really well indeed, runs straight, brakes straight and picks it's heels up

Well done guys, you got a good 'un :D

p.s. it was F5 originally, I would paint it that again !
