Re: RHD '68 BARRACUDA RESTORATION
As you may have guessed I'm not the best at keeping regular updates (& progress has been slow due to other commitments) but thought I'd summarise some of the work completed in the last few months.
The underside is now virtually complete with any localised areas of rust cut out & replaced. The rear floor pan/main boot floor etc were actually really good with the main rust concentrated at the very rear (drop-offs, rear crossmember etc). I've replaced the N/S drop-off panel, repaired the end of the N/S chassis leg & a few other localised bits in the boot floor & removed/repaired the tank strap bracket. Just the lower edge of the O/S drop-off panel to sort & that's the boot floor done. The crossmember was in a poor state, so that was removed & I've had a local fabricators fold me a like-for-like Z section which I can use as the basis of a new crossmember. The leafsprings have been dissasembled, stripped, repainted & rebushed with new shackles etc.
A few pics to follow.
Cheers,
Lee

Excellent work. Keep ‘em coming.

Rear crossmember finished off & welded into place over the weekend. Also a few pics of the finished lower portions of the wheel tubs which were cut out & replaced a while ago..

Re: RHD '68 BARRACUDA RESTORATION
I've been chipping away at the rear end over the past 6 months, and (albeit slowly) things are now coming together nicely.
It's a bit of a struggle in my "tent" & time has been limited, but it's getting there.
With the dropoffs, boot floor & rear crossmember finished I've been on with the lower 3/4 sections & new rear panel. All AMD panels which I was really impressed with the fit & finish of. This has been a more rewarding stage as the rear end has finally come together & it looks something like a car again!
I can actually see a result of my time spent.

Re: RHD '68 BARRACUDA RESTORATION
Good progress! Unfortunately AMD have now discontinued the lower rear quarter patch panels as I found out when I tried to order a pair for my RHD project. Had to replace all those panels on my LHD car due to rust and damage, and I was impressed by the panel fit as well.
