you've been there, done that, and although you might not feel it, you will be wiser for it..... so much easier to think, plan or just appreciate the good things, when you are out of the hole...

Sounds like you have turned the corner and are on the way up , what Dave says is true , we are old enough to have been through many rough times but have always come through and have learned from those experiences , you are now stronger to deal with things that may not go your way in the future.
A good positive mental attitude is a good thing to work at , be that half full guy , smile a lot and have achievable goals , you will get there , and as you have proved when you are going through hell ...... keep going !

Thank you again everyone. Nothing is perfect but definitely heading in the right direction. I'll post pics when I get the next car. 
By the way I'm not a self centered young person that thinks my problems are all that matters. I listen to peoples problems all the time and kept my mouth shut about mine.
