Another Scottish B Body!?

Post by Rabb McMillan »

Hi everyone...

Finally got my 68 Charger and it's gonna be.... A project! Originally a 383ci SE out of St Louis plant ..

Will be looking for some second hand parts if anyone can help out?
Usual stuff: grille, hood, hood hinges, vent glass, rear screen.a left hand tail lamp (or possibly a pair of 69s!?) This isn't gonna be a concours show stopper, I want it useable and not too precious...

And panels: rockers, Dutchman, quarters, roof skin, drip rails rear panel. The list goes on...

Will also be taking some parts off if anyone needs: 7 1/4 rear axle and leafs, full K member/arms/drum uprights, and also have a few bits on the Bay of E, dash frame, non AC heater box etc etc

Also daily a Hemi Magnum, so that keeps the Mopar itch at bay for now! Lol....

Cheers
Rabb

Welcome with your new Charger, plenty of busy times ahead, some knowledgeable people on here and willing to guide you. No doubt some will step forward to help you with your spare parts search.

Good luck with the rebuild

Thanks guys, will post progress as I go, just squaring up shell and bracing just now as there's no floor or chassis left between firewall and where the rear panel should be😬

Welcome and good luck with your project!

We have a couple of these builds on the Forum at the moment so there should hopefully be some informative pictures and instructions available.

All the best,

Welcome to the club Rabb. Really looking forward to seeing you progress with this car. As has been said, plenty of knowledge here and parts do pop up regularly so good luck. We have a 'wanted' section too that can help with the search.
