Santa pod have realised the Mopar Nats date, it’s 9th-11th August, two weeks later than normal

Excellent news, especially as it puts some space between that event and "Dragstalgia" (5 - 7 July 2024) which seems to hoover up everything nowadays.....

Well I guess it works both ways as I'm on holiday that week after booking the weekend before off work for the pod. Gutted

That's good news. I expressed this on the SP feedback survey after Dragstalgia that the dates are just too close together.....Someone is listening

Unfortunately this is the same weekend as Newbury Retrofestival now, and might also clash with the NSRA Hot Rod Supernationals, which is usually this weekend, but the NSRA always take ages to release the date.
Maybe the NSRA will see what else is on and plan around it??

In the 'olden days' (well, a few years ago) the NSRA Supernats always clashed with the EuroNats but one of the consolations was that they would have a cruise out to the Pod, so we'd get to see some of them on the Saturday. Would be good to see them there again, perhaps in the Show'nShine area
