1968 Plymouth Barracuda Notchback
Well the time has come
It saddens me to put my much loved Barracuda up for sale but due to changes in life, I now know that I can't look after her any more the way she should be looked after.
I imported this Barracuda at the end of 2012. It is a very solid car and has no rust.
My Barracuda has:
340ci V8 paired to original 904 three speed automatic transmission.
Limited-slip (sure-grip) 8.75 with a 3.91:1 final drive ratio, and 489 (A body) housing.
Holley 650 carb.
MSD ignition
Manual steering
Manual Brakes with front Disc conversion and drums at the rear
Rallye wheels 14”
Some of the factory options are:
Interior high trim grade, Vinyl, Light Blue
Tinted glass (all)
Bucket seats
Centre console
Factory under seal
AM radio
Since I have had the car, I carried out some body repairs, added MSD distributor, changed to front disc brakes, put new rear springs, by pass Ammeter wiring, extended exhaust system and general maintenance jobs to make the car as reliable as can be.
She started with no problem even after winter sleep.
She is now very reliable and would go anywhere.
I am asking £26,000 for her.
Price now reduced to £24,000
Any questions please PM me.
Thank you
Ali

This car was on our NEC stand a few years ago and to say it attracted attention is an understatement. Lovely car with really good spec. I'm a C body fan but if I had the cash and storage, I would have this car in a flash.
Good luck Ali, hope it all works out for you,
Cheers Steve

Re: 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Notchback
Brings back some great memories. I always enjoyed doing a bit at the NEC. We all had great fun!
Im not sure if you have considered it Ali but one of my pals has a fair bit of success selling stuffon 'Car and Classic'. Think its got a really wide audience. I can see your car going to mainland Europe. Seems to be a good level of ownership over there and they like great cars
Cheers Steve
