Aircon heater vent tube

Post by Dave999 »

Hello

Anyone got one of these.

Looking for the Aircon style on the left. The one on the right is too fat and blocks mounting of aircon diffuser

it looks like the 'thin' one's been altered to fit to me. the 'fat' one looks unaltered for want of a better word. can't you alter it to match the other one?

That was the plan. Expected it to be made of poly. So armed myself with pipe glue. And discoverd it doesn't have any impact on the plastic other than making it white. Was hoping it would melt and fuse. "Affix" style. No such luck

Resisting the temptation to apply the soldering iron to the task. have got a rope cutter and bag sealing attachment. This will end in tears. :)

i'd use tiger seal or similar to seal/glue the joins, that sticks anything to anything :thumbright:

You can get waste pipe that shape in different sizes, you may be able to adapt it.

although its a bit like costco
go there, buy stuff i don't need, and put it in a small draw for later...
