Went down to my old colleague today. Beautiful day. The old girl at his place, Irish sea in the background. He's rebuilding a land rover. Forgot to take pics but it's ground up. Rather him than me. Course it rained on way home.

Great photos! You are virtually line of sight to my house there, with a good set of binoculars on a clear day :D

Whereabouts are you Steve? We stayed up at Kirtlebridge near Lockerbie for a week in August. Not exactly the Highlands but still very nice. Got to see a few places around Ayr, where my wife’s Nan grew up.
Sorry for the mini-hijack. :D

Im close to Monrieth on the Machars Peninsula, directly North of the Isle of Man. On a clear day I can see the mountains south of Belfast, The Isle of Man and the mountains in Cumbria from a hill at the back of my house. My only issue is getting the energy up to climb it, but its worth it when I do \:D/

On a clear night I can see the flashing blue lights in Stevenage, across the other side of the A1 :D

I had a cracking holiday in Northern Ireland a few years ago around Belfast, the North Coast and a bit South of the city too. Loved it, great part of the World :thumbright:
