Daytona Sensors CD1 ignition.
Following last nights pub meet/discussions, I forgot to ask if there is a UK supplier for the Daytona Sensors CD1 ignition system. I have looked online and their US site has FBO as the UK stockist but nothing comes up :( It's always a bit of a downer when a £500 parts evolves into a £1000 part by th...

Re: Lots of Love Needed (A Tall Order)
=D> =D> Truly incredible, Dave. Given all of the challenges and logistics, craftsmanship and down right true grit, this has got to be one of the most remarkable and inspirational restorations out there. Thank You for taking the time to document and post so much detail in an all consuming way, hat is...

An absolutely brilliant day as ever, Roy. Thanks for all of the organising and the opportunity to run my Dodge Musdart ;)  Also cheers to Blue for having a butchers and trying to get me in the right direction :thumbright: I have work to do and hopefully try again this Saturday (28th Aug)

Re: 440 Exhaust manifold help
Thanks for the info chaps and for the offer, Pete. Not sure sure I'd want to risk any damage to someone else's pricey coated headers even if it is just for mocking up with no bashing about. I had thought as Blue says that anything I go for would be plain finish to start with, get any adjustments don...

Re: 440 Exhaust manifold help
Cheers guys, cost to one side (I can dream) I did keep coming round to TTI 440-200 for fit and good flow. Not sure I could stretch that far in reality as I guess I need to order from the states and add all the other costs. As ever with these motors it's never just the product cost eh? :D I'm ...

440 Exhaust manifold help
Well it feels like a life time since I did anything car related but after a teaspoon of motivation I need to pick up where I left off last summer :) I did an engine swap (spring last year) in the Dart which resulted in almost a second off my 2019 pb at Santapod when we had an opportunity to run :thu...

Re: Facebook rant
I will always refer to this forum for advice and opinion, also posting photos of any work progress for some tea break reading :) However, here's an example from today. I went to post a 2 min video clip from last weekend at Santapod but no video files show in my folder and it all seemed like aggro. I...

Re: Inner tubes or not for the strip?
Always have a compressor with us at the track so that's no bother and we always check pressure when we are past the zebra crossing at Santapod.
Our usual problem is pressure increasing as runs and sunshine warm the air and the tubes keep it in
Cheers Dunc

Inner tubes or not for the strip?
I expect to be opening up a can of worms here and I can't find the question on the forum so apologies if it's been discussed to death :) I have been running tubes in the rears of the Dart since getting it, only because the tyres I had said "not tubeless". However, I am getting a new pair o...
