I don’t think it would be any great problem if you adjust your driving to suit. My tyres are 27” and 28” tall and my spare is around 26”, much bigger and it wouldn’t fit in the well.

If you are talking about halfshafts, all 8.75” axles have the same spline count.

As far as I know all the V8 RHD cars came with an 8.75” rear axle. Aftermarket halfshafts are avilable to convert to 4.50 PCD. I wasn’t aware you can convert the front with Australian parts, I’ll have to remember that!

Unfortunately cast wheels usually only come in one offset that is never optimal and that ties your hands somewhat. You will also need to find a machinist that will do the work for a less than insane price. I was told yesterday £600 is the going rate to rebore a V8 block and same again to balance the rotating assembly. There must still be people out there that do quality work for a good deal less than that surely?

The usual problem with 4”PCD is the centre bore is often too big on most aftermarket wheels to drill a pattern that small. Provided they can do that in a size and offset suitable then job done!
