Re: Blue's Barracuda
Whilst the dash is out it’s the best time to do a wiper motor mod. Mopar wiper motors are big old chunks and certainly in the wrong place on a small block A body. A Vauxhall Corsa unit is tiny in comparison, is pretty easily adapted and will fit under the dash. So I’m getting on with that at the mom...

Re: My very last restoration!!!
I’m amazed it’s never been modified and that it’s not rotten as a pear, great find!

Re: Random Pics...
One of my favourite photos, given the fantastic paint on all the vehicles it’s such a shame it’s not in colour.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Modified my shiny new Dash trim to take the gauge panel I made last year in the heater control area. This will place the oil pressure and mechanical temp gauge in an area where I can easily see them. Under the dash might look cool but it’s hopeless if you are actually going to use them while driving...

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Indeed, it’s considerably lighter now, probably half the weight it was. I have some self adhesive chrome tape I’ll apply to the inside so it still acts as a reflector for the panel lights.

Re: Slip yoke
With weight on the rear wheels, bottom the yoke and pull out 3/4” and then measure between the yokes is the usual way to arrive at the correct prop length. I assume you are thinking your prop is the wrong length?

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Final step is fitting a Voltmeter decal to complete the look. Can all be reinstalled now and wired to suit. I need to check but I think all that needs doing is to move the large red and black wires for the Ammeter onto one terminal of the voltmeter and earth the other side, assuming that’s the case ...

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Next comes the tricky job of snipping off the original needle and gluing it to the new needle as it’s a different shape and needs to be moved up a bit to match.
