Re: Found on flickr

I tried to keep track of them on this thread (viewtopic.php?f=33&t=46046) but it was quite a while ago now and even then I was told about some mistakes I had made.

Have a look though, some answers might be on there.

Re: Some valiants for sale

Hi Pete, strange question but are you on the road out to Shepton Mallet? I Drive past fairly often and always notice an old aussie charger on one of the driveways. Shame to hear your are looking to sell. That's the one! Feel free to drop in when you are passing to see the collection before it goes....

Re: Some valiants for sale

I do not think I realised how much work there would be in a large property. You start with something small - say "I will put some gravel down over there, to park one car on". Then you realise that you can't get the gravel there easily due to plants, the camber of the land and so on. So out...

Re: Some valiants for sale

Hi Andy, I am in Glastonbury. Yes, will be sorry to see them go but we did a bit of a timeline, and it could be upwards of 10 years before I could start. I have 4.5 acres and a large delapidated Victorian house, so it is slow going. Hope to have a large shed up (more of a barn really) in the next 12...

Ok, so I caved in! The one on the left - "The Swing Era: 1930 - 1936: Wonderful Times: Making a lot out of a little". 1973 The one on the right - "The Swing Era: 1936 - 1937: THe movies: Between Vitaphone and Video". 1970 interestingly. Part of a larger set of music by - "Ti...

Re: new records

What a nice piece of history. If I had to guess, without looking on the internet (which was harder than I realised!) I would say this was a nostalgia set for someone from the 40's, bought in the 80's. It looks like the sort of thing I would buy now, but with music from the 1980s.

Nice car - how did it end up there? Are there many in the US? Interesting to see where they end up.
