I was going to say - I've bought a few sets from him without any major issues issue. The one's for the '66 needed a bit of fettling but he was very helpful.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
I really should know better by now. I usually make my own lightweight bumper brackets but I was seduced by these brackets I found on the net made specifically for my car. Do they fit? do they arse! Too long by at least 2 inches which required a couple of hours of shortening, redrilling, bending and...

Re: Optima battery charger
I've had a number of Optima's over the years (red top/yellow top) and I just used anything that's marked for an AGM battery. For trickle charging the CTEKs are great and down at the track I use one of these: - https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-ibc20-intelligent-battery-charger/ - https://www.dr...

Re: Electrical Connectors
Hi Pete,
Thanks - I had a look there already and a few other local suppliers that I know of but, no joy.

Electrical Connectors
Hi,
Does anyone know of a local supplier for these connectors. You might find them on the turn signal switch connector block. I can see them on eBay from the US but just thought I'd check if anyone has managed to source them locally e.g. RS Components.
thanks,
adrian.

Re: Fuel tank sender - removal tool?
You should be able to get a decent seal with the standard lock ring and gasket. When I had these issues I ended up dropping the tank replacing the lock ring, gasket and sender and then putting the tank on a stand so that the sender was at the lowest point and put a few litres of fuel it in and just ...

Re: Fuel tank sender - removal tool?
Thanks Adrian, that looks like it might work as the 'teeth' look like they're angled down. Not sure that there's much space up under the car though! There were quite a few different 'universal' tools when I Googled it. You're not a million miles from me so if it'd help you're welcome to borrow and ...

Thanks for that Dave, hadn't seen it before. Be interesting to see something like that on the crowds at the early Summernats and see what their 'analysis' of that is

Some hope in there with mention of planning in July for some “behind closed doors” track days. It'll wont be Dragstalgia but . . .

Re: Fifty shades of Jade
So, let me get this right. I have 600hp+ to haul @2 tonne down the 1/4 mile and you're going for 500hp+ on something that looks like it weighs 3/8 of 4/5 of f**k all ?? That's going to be one fun ride, full credit to you.
