741 is the smallest pinion 1 1/4 or 1 3/8 iirc, 742 is 1 3/4, both straight & as the wise man said 489 is the tapered one & also he strongest. Some gear sets have the ratio stamped on them, but for many you'll need to count the teeth.

Adios amigos!

With a bit of sadness I'm hanging up my Mopar driving gloves, got plans to go travelling in our retirement & just can't justify keeping all the toys. The Valiant sold today, hopefully the bikes will sell soon too, haven't done many miles on any of them in recent years & with hoping to be som...

Best way imho, is to have a proper 1/2" npt boss welded in place in the oil pan.

I think that it's just the plug for the machined hole, what sensor did you want to fit?

I don't think that there are enough owners in the UK to get a good idea of whether or not it's an issue & if it affects standard cars or just ones that have been modified. I'm sure that there are some US forums that might shed a bit more information. A quick Google search says to me that it's mo...

Rods the wrong way round would mean that the oil feed hole that provides a bit of cylinder lubrication would be facing away from the cylinder causing the issues that you have with the cylinder bores.

Sorry to hear of your engine woes, Ivor Searle used to be one of the best machine shops around, I don't know if that still stands as I've been out of the trade for a while. Sticky throttle, you haven't lived until you've had one stick on a bike (Laverda Jota no less!) at full chat, close to 140mph, ...

It's obviously lost some fluid, you might be able to just top up, bleed the brakes & get it moveable. Being South African I don't know what parts it shares with American or Australian variants. Where are you? Might be someone near who could help.

Makes me wonder!

Just how many cars are out there (Mopars) belonging to people who have no idea about the club. Yesterday I was on holiday in Kent & heard what was obviously a V8 rumble by, just saw the top 3 inches of roofline of a Charger dissappear down the little lane by our campsite. Worked out where it had...
