Thanks for the comments. Bryan: Yep, you did see it at North American. Drew: No idea on the circumstances which required a half inch thick skim - it was like this when it was imported. So, let me now bring you a bit more up to date. I mentioned previously that the car had already had some replacemen...

72 Challenger Rear bumper overriders

Can anyone shed any light on how the bottom end of the overrider would be connected to the body? There's a captive nut within the overrider so there's presumably a bracket of some description to bolt on to but at this stage I've no idea what it even looks like let alone where it connects to. Thanks ...

Well, it's been a while since I've provided an update on this and to be honest, I was looking at getting the ball rolling in about another 6 months but circumstances changed recently. You may recall my recent post in relation to a 57 Chevy for sale due to loss of storage? Well, my Challenger was pre...

Identified the SD1 from 1 square in 3 seconds which raked in a massive 1133 points so guess quickly to rack up the high scores. Downside is more chance to get it wrong! 7798 with 3 incorrect.

I echo the above. Thanks to all organizers, marshals and attendees. Great day marred only by an unintentional Oldsmobile gatepost interface upon return home  .

Faux 70 has a 72 Challenger (in pieces).

Oh, and the 69 442 if you want to include as "other".

Steve:

If you reckon Friday evening's the best option, so be it. I'm happy to go with the majority view.

Weekdays just mean I'll need to bring the Olds to work in the morning which always goes down well in a cramped car park!

Sat/Sun works best for me in view of current work commitments but if there's more interest in a weekday evening meeting, I'm happy to go with the majority.

From Wheels Day this year. I admire the effort, if not especially the end result.
