Looking on ebay, why are they part numbered differently? The only difference I can see is one casting may be shaped slightly differently to give clearance to the caliper, or is it just a marketing thing? Back in the seventies we used to sell the same dash switches, but they were priced and numbered ...

A body lower ball joints
I do apologise that I only seem to post daft questions, but I've got another.... What is the difference between the lower ball joints come steering arms on a late 60's A body, drum brake to disc brake? The ball joint, bolt spacing and track rod end taper seem the same, what am I missing??

Drivers air vent, A body.
Has anyone any idea what size the thread is for the 3 studs that locate the air vent under the dash, above the drivers feet on a 67 dart. They seem 5mm ish, so possibly 1/4 unc??

318 ignition timing
My humble apologies for posting this, but I can't find the info on a website search, so here goes....I need to strobe up the timing on my 318, single point dizzy, with vacuum advance. In my dodgy memory I seem to remember setting these engines with a strobe on tickover at TDC with the VA disconnecte...

Windscreen chrome strip
The widscreen chrome strip on my 67 dart is....to be honest.... knackered. On pricing the OM stuff up with US suppliers, It's a bit costly. Is it feasible to replace it with the old strip that you used to get in rolls, usually for mini's etc., is the profile close enough??
