Re: Bad news, really bad news :-(

Firstly, thats a real shame. Sorry for you :( Secondly - that looks like where the guard is on my Charger - (it has to come off all the time for stuff) and I am truly shocked that 3 MOT testers didnt see that. Yes, its a guard but it isnt really all-covering. Thats really scary. Well done for findi...

Re: Bad news, really bad news :-(

Still worth fixing surely? That's just one part, will need a new front chassis leg and there is a fist size hole near the rear spring hanger, needs body work, which we were aware of but this was a total shock after everone said how solid it was underneath, including 3 MOT testers. Aparantly it was ...

Bad news, really bad news :-(

Ok it is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I am typing this. Robin has always called my baby "the little yellow banarama" and it has proved to be even more of a banarama than even he thought. I have admitted defeat as what we have discovered is way beyond what I wanted to see and way way ...

Re: We need to keep going

We are! Luckily we are mail order so nothing has changed for us, apart from the fun stuff that is. I need to get my baby out and Robin hasn't seen his since a week before lockdown, already had 2 offers to buy it if it he wants to sell. He hasn't even driven it yet but it is nearly done, apparently!

Re: 1970 Cuda 383 on ebay

Cuda is BS and Barracuda BH. I believe this was brought in around the just after mine which was 2015. If it is that one it was sold but never seen it around, looks like he has it back again if that's the case.

Re: Hubby has seen the light.

Robin's Roadrunner is nearly done. It has new rubbers on nearly every rubber bit, suspension, steering, body mounts, roll bar etc etc as they were all perished. New exhaust soon to be fitted as it sounded pathetic, new sump and oil pick up pipe as it looked like some numpty had jacked it up on there...
