Build Sheet, well bits of it!

Finally, 3 years later, we got the paper work for the Roadrunner we should have had when we bought it. We discovered it was a one owner from new in the states and they only sold it as their mechanic retired and nobody else wanted to look after it. I now have the build sheet which hubby spent hours a...

Dispite being told it is too big a car for me by a (insert approriate swear word here) !! The 'Cuda is now up for sale on Retro Classics, no price as yet but I guess it's gonna b...

Re: Not coming home :-(

Can this post be a bit less cryptic please.... Has the car been stolen? Long story short..... Not stolen just being the usual little yellow banarama it has always been. Needed more work than we were prepared to do when the rotten chassis leg was discovered. Was told we would be offered first refusa...

Legit Roadrunners.

Robin isn't sure the Roadrunner is the right car for him, after having loads of work done on it, typical :-) Looking online for prices and most of the "Roadrunners" are clones, tributes, homages or recreations and also the genuine Roadrunner with RHZ vin tag, I think you'll find that's a s...

Re: Bad news, really bad news :-(

Firstly, thats a real shame. Sorry for you :( Secondly - that looks like where the guard is on my Charger - (it has to come off all the time for stuff) and I am truly shocked that 3 MOT testers didnt see that. Yes, its a guard but it isnt really all-covering. Thats really scary. Well done for findi...

Re: Bad news, really bad news :-(

Still worth fixing surely? That's just one part, will need a new front chassis leg and there is a fist size hole near the rear spring hanger, needs body work, which we were aware of but this was a total shock after everone said how solid it was underneath, including 3 MOT testers. Aparantly it was ...

Bad news, really bad news :-(

Ok it is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I am typing this. Robin has always called my baby "the little yellow banarama" and it has proved to be even more of a banarama than even he thought. I have admitted defeat as what we have discovered is way beyond what I wanted to see an...

Re: We need to keep going

We are! Luckily we are mail order so nothing has changed for us, apart from the fun stuff that is. I need to get my baby out and Robin hasn't seen his since a week before lockdown, already had 2 offers to buy it if it he wants to sell. He hasn't even driven it yet but it is nearly done, apparently!
