Re: Jeep Wrangler TJ

Thanks for the suggestions guys, definitely will be going for the 4lr, i know they are more suited for offroading, but i do need to occasionally use the motorway, i want to know that i can, from all accounts, the 2.5 is worthless for that. I Had looked at the JK, and the diesel models, but they are ...

Jeep Wrangler TJ

Been on the search for a new car for a while, anybody know of any decently clean wranglers, i'd like a YJ, but too old and too much rust would mean second project rather than a reliable daily driver. Looking for a TJ (the later year the better something like a 2003-06 model), manual, Hard top, carpe...

70-72 Duster hood

Long shot, and really just a pipe dream at this stage, but dont suppose anybody has a Duster hood kicking about they want to part with. Previous owner bolted on a dodgy 6 pack scoop and i have never liked the sloppy installation look of it. Looking for either a flat steel hood or even a fibreglass o...

small block 4 barrel throttle bracket.

Hi Guys, looking to fix a long nagging problem ive been having. Cars been laid up for more than a year now but i always had an issue with throttle cable travel, and it seems that i do not have the correct bracket on the car. Does anybody have a spare 4 barrel bracket from a 340 car for sale?
Cheers

Re: Not a Mopar, but I like it!

Nice looking truck. Think that might be the way i go after my duster. Looking either for a C10 or d100. Those 70s trucks, just look so cool and are just as "muscle" as any car

Not been out in it much since it was painted, but i remember the heater always being on before and it was very warm in the car. Always drove around with windows down. The buttons dont seem to do much. i decoded the fender tag a few weeks back and found out it was a factory aircon car, and i can see ...

The speed at idle almost looks like a puddle that slowly moves in a light breeze. When i rev the engine it looks like the water gets sucked in.

Ive been speaking with another member Ash (Painted the car) and he has suggested a few of these things. I Dont know how quickly the rad is supposed to flow. It almost looks like its not moving.

I have broken down in it twice now, both times the rad has boiled over and water has come out of either the rad cap, or the pressure shot the overlfow hose off (nothing was keeping it on). I Have replaced both the radiator and the thermostat recently so those two are both crossed off the list. Rad w...

Flowmasters do sound good with it. Its straight through pipes (not my choice, previous owner), but it doesnt sound too obnoxious. Been doing a few tests these last couple weeks. Dont think it is head gasket in the end. Bought a head gasket test kit, it checks to see if there is exhaust and engine ga...
