Re: Plymouth Duster - 1971 - 318

So i'm still here with the car. Just listed it on car & classic and soon as an ebay classified ad. Listed it for a bit higher, 20k, in the hopes i get lucky, but know its really a starting point for negotiating down. If any club members are interested, happy to start at the 17k i put it up for l...

Plymouth Duster - 1971 - 318

Hi all, i've been in two minds about this for a while now, but i realize i have just fallen out of love with the car and cars in general i think. Its a sad day but i am putting up my much loved Duster. I've owned this for about 7 or 8 years now and have done a fair bit to the car, but time and money...

Re: Thinking of selling...need some advice

Hi All, not been around much in the past year, so i guess its my yearly post of "thinking of selling" haha Any ideas what the market is like at the moment? Got the car out and took it for a quick spin down the road for the first time in a few years today. Still love the car but its looking...

Re: Some valiants for sale

Hi Pete, strange question but are you on the road out to Shepton Mallet? I Drive past fairly often and always notice an old aussie charger on one of the driveways. Shame to hear your are looking to sell.

Re: Thinking of selling...need some advice

Cheers all for your thoughts. Coincidentally had a message from Ash Rawson who echoed your sentiments. I Think i'll keep an eye on prices of Dusters for the time being, but i cannot see the market getting good enough to sell this year or possibly even next summer and I Think if i were to sell, i can...

Thinking of selling...need some advice

Hi all, this is by no-means certain, but its something I've been thinking about recently. Thankfully the Duster doesn't have much upkeep. Outside the yearly insurance, my only costs are the £40 a month i pay to rent garage space, HOWEVER, im looking to buy some property in the near-ish future and th...

Re: How about this for a stroke of luck

Its cool to see how things like this end up, truly a needle in a haystack. I Remember reading a similar success story, of a guy rebuilding an old mopar (likely a sally or charger) and needed a new engine. Phoned a guy up halfway across the country after hearing he has a lot of old engines lying abou...

Re: Which Hurst shifter

Cheers all for the advice. Looks like i'd go with the Autostick 1 over the 3. Cheers for the link blue, though i think i'd rather wait for a complete one rather than hope to find a cover later down the line. With regards to the brackets, how creative are you talking, could an existing new kit be eas...

Which Hurst shifter

Hi all, hopefully someone has some experience with these two shifters. Have had my eye out on the B&M Quick Click for sometime as well as the Hurst Autostick, and from what i can tell, both seem to be very similar. Been checking on fleabay here and there for some time and just my luck, someone h...

Re: It's Friday so let's rock!

Yeah, i saw both of them with Clutch last year, annoyingly had to travel down to Southampton to see them play, but always worth it. I Thought they were ok, but King Hobo are great and it was cool to see them up with JP. Bakerton group is pretty great too, check out Dunsmuir and the Company Band, the...

Re: 71 duster project.

Gotta love a Duster. What are the plans for resto? bodywork then paint and interior, or will you leave some as is and work here and there?

Ive had mine about 5 years now, almost wish i had that condition, too scared to scratch the paint.
