Thanks Blue, I'm hoping it is just something as simple as encouraging the fuel to start coming through. I'll put some more in the tank and tip some in the carb, just a shame it has to wait until next weekend now!

Fuel pump troubles

Hi Looking for a bit of advice regarding fuel pumps or my ability to mess up when fitting a new one! So I had the stock fuel pump which was reliable but decided to upgrade to a new Holley (mechanical) one and at the same time I took off the carb and fitted a new accelerator cable and mounting bracke...

It goes along quite well, I put a Holley fuel pump on last weekend and changed the fuel pipes but I’ve yet to drive it again since, hopefully it will get a run out tomorrow

You lucky bugger......Thats my perfect Drive. 8-) Love the mid 60's to mid 70s C10's! 8-) 8-) What does it drive like? Drives really nice, still getting used to the brakes though, think they need a bleed & service or it could be that I’m not used to a heavy truck? My dart has discs all round so...

Just thought I'd share the lovely new truck my wife Emma has just brought, 1970 Chevrolet C10 with most of the work done, just a few minor things to do but overall a very solid well restored truck!

Hi Roy Good to meet you all to, limped home and as I got in my road a lot of steam was coming out of the engine bay! Reversed it on the drive and there was a pop and I found the breather in the valve cover was the reason for the pop as it had ejected itself, I'm assuming some sort of back pressure a...
