we made a start on the A chassis this afternoon. we step boxed the front of the frame rails to match the rest. next we cut the 4 shock brackets from 6mm plate and they're now bolted in place ready to weld to the rails.

i'm collecting an ally 10 gallon fuel tank for the nash next weekend (thanks Gary) so that'll save me pulling the dent and welding the split on the bottom of the stock tank where it was drained with an axe

Yes I’d already ruled out an Aussie one from a cost perspective. Just out of curiosity, what’s the third port for?

i know it's not mopar but....
as above i'm looking for a tunnel ram inlet manifold for a ford 351 cleveland, 4v although i don't think a 2v one was ever made. collection at the nsra swapmeet preferred, i can send a deposit first of course.

Re: Valvoline VR1
with more than 1 engine in the pipeline i recently bought this. zddp at 1500 ppm. i've used it a few times now, as well as their gear oil (both lsd and not and auto trans fluid) they always deliver on time too.

Re: a bit of this and a bit of that
looks like i've sold the 318 engine and box to a mate so he can get his (my old) 66 fury back on the road for this summer. i doubt he'll want any of the rebuild/tuning parts i've accumulated but that's fine, i'll buy another non running 318 later when one comes up. it would've been a shame to strip ...
