Re: MOT exemption

Just tried this for my Charger and a couple of my bikes, all return "Not Known" status ... I can't believe DVLA would have assumed they are HVI Compliant, but not complaining.

Think I will still fill in the form and send it in as a matter of course

Re: Jimbo's 71 Charger "Snot Rod"

Back to the boring stuff and more wiring this evening, need to remove the dash and pretty much start again with the wiring, such is the state of the hack or wiring. Removed the HUGE old radio - Its Massive LOL Will keep this in a safe place, but can't see how to pull the rest of the dash out. Undone...

Re: Jimbo's 71 Charger "Snot Rod"

Just thought I would post an update (and a question) Managed to ge the Nuts off under the dash that hold the brake master cylinder on and had to sacrefice a 17mm Spanner to make it 17.2ish to make it fit the Nut holding the shaft to the brake pedal. Anyway, as per pic below, before get a bit more ad...

Re: Jimbo's 71 Charger "Snot Rod"

Steering Drag link ... I stand corrected 😊 Anyway both inner joints came off not too bad which allowed the link to drop down, more than enough to get the sump off. What was an absolute bugger was getting the Front bolts out the sump directly above the cross member - had to turn a socket down to get ...
