Re: Brake Drums Valiant VF / 69 Dart
Magic. Thanks Dave for all the info. I'll take some time tomorrow to go though it all.
It is only the rear drums. The front are discs upgrade and I was forgetting that they were not standard.

3 inch drums!? I guess these must have been upgraded as the fronts are disc, which I think were not standard either.

Re: Front suspension kit - VF
Thanks Dave. Massive wealth of info there! Sorry taken me a while to respond - there has been an issue with notifications on the forum that I wasn't aware of. My car is with the body shop now and the mechanic is going to have to do this job for me. Plumkrazy are recommending this this complete kit, ...

Front suspension kit - VF
Hello all. I need to have my front suspension and steering rebuilt on my VF Valiant. There is a bunch of worn-out kit to replace. I recall a custom adjustable kit for the VF/VG that allowed the front set-up to be installed with relative ease (i.e. without lifting block or dismantling around). I can'...

Re: Some valiants for sale
Hi Pete. Thanks for sharing your situation & revelation. No doubt difficult but respect to you - how many of us have cringed when we've seen a car parked up and rotting and the owner says "I'm going to restore it one day" - but never does! What vehicle/s have you decided to keep and fo...

Re: Service manual for sale
How relevant do you think it is for the VF/VG series? I now have a few decent independent manuals covering v8 and slant 6, but not a factory one.

Re: EHJ 480H - VF Valiant Hardtop - back on eBay
I will check what engine mine has and let you know. It was originally slant six but was replaced with hemi v8. There is a database that allows you decipher from the VIN that I once saw.

Re: Period correct engine
Being a VF, chances are it was a originally a Slant Six. I think the 318 is what mine was swapped to. It was originally a Slant Six, which some believed was better than the V8 alternative at the time.
