Re: Power Steering Pump Compatability

Wow! Thanks Steve - had really given up on getting any help on this, so Thank You so much for the info. Had my motor tuned, fuel system upgraded and timing set and the old PS pump finally disintegrated, so car has been laid up since. Should now hopefully be able to get the old heap back on the road....

Re: Classic kit builds this year

Those are some great builds there - Great job on the Blower Bentley which is a hard one to do!
Love the Cobra too - looks mean in that paint and fantastic detail.

Power Steering Pump Compatability

Hi Everybody,
Will a stock power steering pump and brackets from a 440 fit a 383?
Is the pulley the same?
Guessing it will swap, but though I'd check.
Looking to replace an aftermarket setup on my '68 Satellite and a 440 set has come available.
Thanks for any help.

Re: 1/8 Scale Hot Rod Kitbash

Thanks Morgan - Yeah Rat Rod it is but I'm going with Red Oxide primer with a Red Interior. Something like this look: IMG_2573.JPG or this: scan0017-4.jpg Aquired another Big T kit so I think I'll be going the '60s show rod candy green with that one. Just as soon as I've finished my 1/8 scale '32 Hi...

1/8 Scale Hot Rod Kitbash

Not Mopar, but thought it might be of interest! One of my lockdown projects was to build an od Monogram Model T kit I had in my stash. Got inspired by Andy Fadster's Twister and threw in an old Lindberg blown fuel engine. Lots of scratch building involved in the fuel system and headers - Thought I'd...

Re: Anyone fitted an auxiliary vac canister ?

Had the same problem (stroker Big Block with a silly cam) and I've fitted the same vacuum can (mine was Mr Gasket branded via Amazon). Made a real improvement for me, i.e. now streetable with 5-6 pumps on the brakes before the can recharges, as opposed to 1-2 pumps on the brakes before a hard pedal!...
