Re: 73 Charger Front subframe mounts/bushes

Thanks for the links Scotty,

Unfortunately I can’t get the first one to open properly. I’ve tried on my phone & pc. Is it the body mounts that I need?

73 Charger Front subframe mounts/bushes

Has anyone got any good links for replacement front subframe bushes? Mine resemble swiss cheese & the car wallows in corners worse than any yank I’ve ever owned! :o

Re: Removing EGR & A/C -73 Charger 318

Non A/C cars use different pulleys to A/C cars. You need to use the correct pulleys so the crank, water pump and alternator all line up to use one belt. You can block off and remove the EGR as long as you still have a breather on the valve cover. Looks like I’ll have to shop around for some parts b...

Removing EGR & A/C -73 Charger 318

Hi all! Looking for some advice on my EGR amplifier, which looks like it’s been partially blocked off already - see pics. I have some chrome rocker covers to go on the car and they obviously don’t have the fitting for the EGR. Can I bypass or remove this? I’d also like to remove the remainder of my...

Re: Neutral Safety Switch Continuity - Torqueflight 904

The switch just screws in, so there's no real way you can fit it the wrong way round! :) I guess you could put the connector on the other way round, but as the two outer pins only connect the reverse lights, I'm not sure it would really matter anyway.

Neutral Safety Switch Continuity - Torqueflight 904

Just a quick one. Currently I can only start in neutral, not park. I have tested continuity across the switch to the transmission casing and I get continuity on the centre pin in neutral, but not park and also continuity across the outer pins. My reverse lights also come on when I'm in reverse. Is m...

Perhaps all 73s have a four bow liner? It would be nice if that was the case, but Sod's Law probably says otherwise!

Missing headliner and hardware - 73 Charger

My Charger came to me without any remnants of the headlining, including the bows (or any other fittings). I know that either four or six bow liners are fitted, but I have no idea which mine originally had! :-k More confusing is that there appear to be five sets of holes along the upper edge inside t...

UK supplier for radiators

Finally got my ‘73 Charger running, only to find that it has a blocked radiator. Can anyone recommend a supplier in the UK where I might be able to get a replacement? Hoses too as I may as well replace the lot :)

Finally got there! It’s a rubber fitting. About 135mm long, and around 80mm at the widest part at the bottom.

Re: ‘73 Charger part needed.

Ok, no problem. Should be able to get up to the barn next weekend. Unfortunately I have limited access to it, due to the times that the owner is there and my work hours :(

‘73 Charger part needed.

Can anyone help me? I need to find a driver’s side of whatever this plate is on my Charger, it fits just in front of the rear side window. I’ve tried searching ebay, The Paddock and Classic Industries but have had no luck so far. Really hoping to find this, to fill the gaping hole that greets me eve...
