Re: 70 Charger Wiper motor.

Yeah thanks guys, I'm aware of Topher in the states but I was hoping for a solution a little closer to home !. Perhaps that might be my only solution.

70 Charger Wiper motor.

I've got to the point in the rebuild where I need a wiper motor. The one I have is a 3 speed which has been butchered in the past, the park mechanism is missing and the wires are burnt. Has anyone out here got a working 3 speed motor which they're willing to let go? Or has anyone substituted a 2 spe...

Well done buddy, it's great to see someone else suffering / enjoying themselves in a very similar way to myself! Keep up the good work.

Re: Lowering rear suspension

Guys, thanks for your feedback. Dave thanks for the info and blue prints; Mr Norm thanks for that tip. I had heard of the "turn the hanger upside down " trick bit to be honest didn't fancy filing out loads of holes in my freshly painted frame! On the other hand... It's a free fix so I may ...

Lowering rear suspension

Okay, I'm looking to drop the rear of my 70 Charger by an inch or so. I know that I can get good ol' fashioned lowering blocks, but I've noticed that you can buy front spring hanger mounts where the mounting holes are raised so that the spring sits higher in the car thereby lowering the car. Has any...

Re: Charger lower sus arm

You're thinking of the adjuster that sits right at the inner end of the lower control arm and is for fine tuning of the ride height. Wind it in = higher; wind it out = lower.

Re: My '70 Charger project

Hi Steve. I'm also in Newhaven, and I know this car quite well, having helped Mark get it running many years ago. As you say, originally TX9 black with a white inverted C stripe, it would have been a stunner when new. Glad to hear it's still local - if I can help in any way, let me know :) Thanks A...
