When you have vented the lines was it at the carb and you witnessed fuel coming out of the inlet to the carb by turning the engine over and fuel coming out the line... if you did i am guessing the fuel lock be occurring in the carb itself...which i would imagine the spacer will probably help?

Re: Ignition Coil Advice Please
I like Blues inside hinged tray that he has under his dash and mounts all his electrical items on there.
Keeps it all out the heat and tidies the engine bay up.

Re: Engine paintingg
Thanks Dave.
Mine is a mixture of various shades of orange and some black parts.
Was looking on a few other forums and brushing seems to get good results.
I’ll degrease, scotchbrite as much as I can and then get to work with a brush.
I’ll wait until the temp comes up though.
I don’t think ...

Engine painting
Has anyone painted their engine with it still in the car?
I fancy doing mine, so any pointers/recommendations please.
Will probably use the POR15 from Frost.

What about a vinyl wrap. You can get stuff with a grain in it?
Easy enough to sample and not permanent.

Re: My Dream Almost Complete At Last!!
The nice thing about working on a car in your own garage is that you can stop what you’re doing and walk away. You don’t have to worry too much about putting stuff away… you can just come back to it the next day.

Brilliant job Steve and you can now enjoy the fruits of your labour while tinkering on your car.
Was the car in a garage before?

Great video and what an amazing car.
Love when the 65 pulls up alongside and Jay says…”that’s one of those old fashioned piston engines isn’t it…”

Dan Cohen has got an engine shop down your way. Really nice guy and does pretty much everything in house.
