Settled in now Pete, just need to work on my beard now!πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ Was a great trip up Pete, proper dream material for the last 100 miles to my place. The old Polara ran like a true champ and was just a pleasure to drive. Co...

Re: Canada Trip

Just a quick update on progress with the Day Two Hemi Cuda.As you can see the motor is back where it belongs after many years separated from the car. Things are moving on quickly now, with the dash reinstalled and the front and rear glass fitted. Next up is the exhaust system. More pictures to foll...

Re: trike carb advice for colleague

Colleague has just sold his 1800cc VW trike and is looking to buy one with a Rover 3.9 ltr (circa 98) trike in the Manchester area. Question is, he wants advice on what would be the best carb for this engine (automatic transmission). Not sure what is on it but is a big circular unit. Haven't any ot...

Looks good, but I think a few free hours could be more productive. I could read a book. These are my personal priorities, though. Everyone has different interests and I have no right to say something bad. I just assumed.

Re: Back after a long time

I have noticed that it is becoming increasingly difficult to get spare parts for old cars. Due to the coronavirus, many repair shops have gone bankrupt.

Cool job. Such an old pickup truck is like new. It's like traveling in a time machine 40 years ago.

Re: Not coming home :-(

Can this post be a bit less cryptic please.... Has the car been stolen? Long story short..... Not stolen just being the usual little yellow banarama it has always been. Needed more work than we were prepared to do when the rotten chassis leg was discovered. Was told we would be offered first refusa...

Re: Fuel injection 4 barrel

Holley Sniper still seems to be the system of choice for regular street cars, reliable and with good back up. About the only positive feedback you get stateside for the Fi tech is "I fitted mine 6 months ago and it ain't gone wrong yet" alongside a barrage of it's unreliable and you'll be...

Re: 75 dart wiper linkage

Do you have a set of sockets? A very useful thing when disassembling a car and during repairs. I purchased the Craftsman Mechanic's Tool Set. Of course, I laid out a tidy sum, but a set of tools for any occasion. If you are interested, then here https://homemakerguide.com/best-socket-set/ there is a...
