I have a whining diff, think it's possibly worn gears, but over here the price is around £500, in the US, they're around $200!!!!!!

Lancaster Insurance

Don't know if anyone on here uses them, but be very careful. I have just been on the phone to them for half an hour, to cancel my insurance, and surprise surprise, my cancellation 'fee' is exactly the same as my 6 month refund!!!!! Thanks for nothing, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask!

I ended up buying a 2000 4.0 limited after searching for a good V8 version. Most had high mileage and a tow bar. Or quite a difference in price. The SRT 's rarely come up for sale. Would like a blast in one though !!! ;) Enjoying mine so far. Servicing is every 7500 miles. Getting about 22mpg I rec...

I don't know Rob, the servicing is a good point, every 6000 is reccommended! :read2: Looks like l may be going for an 'Overland' instead! Shame really, as you say, the sound of these is amazing, as is the peformance, sub 5 seconds 0-60, and low 13 quarters straight out of the box! :thumbright:

Anyone had one of these? Went to look at one yesterday, awesome bit of kit, BUT when l was checking out the instruments, the ave mpg came up as 7.6!!!!!!!!! Is this all you can get out of them? As it was going to be an everyday car, l couldn't live with that mpg! :roll:
