Yes. Get it back ASAP. Once they have your car they think they have you over a barrel. Once they start work it will be much more difficult to get it back without being stitched up financialy.

It may be worth contacting some other solicitors (who may advertise that they specialise in motor claims) and asking if they have experience in such cases - since I believe you are entitled to ask your insurers to engage a solicitor that you specify, not just the (probably cheapest) firm that they p...

You could use 'dual filament' LED bulbs (amber and white) with the original clear lenses - best of both worlds!

Most classic insurance policies include recovery. I've used it a few times with no problems from a couple of different insurers...

:help: I'm past it I know, but I agree that the online booking form is as clear as mud if you are attending as part of the club...
In previous years I think that car+driver was free, plus whatever a passenger cost.
Now it appears that both driver and passenger pay - but with a 50% discount ?

How about a cush drive to absorb the shock? The drive you lose when it compresses is recovered as it expands.
Or maybe a longer drive chain with a tensioner in the top run?
