Re: Fast & Furious 4 Road Runner

Think the car looks the absolute nuts.
I do however agree that the hood would have to go. It's not my cuppa at all and doesn't really work with the lines of the car IMO.

I actually really like the colour........
Might put that on the list for the Dart. 8-)

Re: Dave's 1969 Plymouth

Had the bouncing speedo on my Dart years ago. After some research it seemed that the usual suspect is friction within the sheath that the cable slides within. So disconnected the speedo end, hammered a Bananarama! load of Graphite grease down its throat (FABO recommended), jacked the car up and put ...

Re: Cool, man... (water pumps)

A chance conversation with said twins made me think of something else - the water pump. It only happens when stationary (idle) and the problem followed from mild-hot engine and is seemingly independent of the rest of the cooling system. Interesting as i had a similar issue with mine a while back (a...

Yea, Thanks Derek.

Booked Mine for the weekend.......
Can you pay the £5 on the gate on the Thursday, or is it pre-booked only?
The Pod website says the Thurs tickets are £5 in advance or £10 on the gate, so I'd say yes Dave, you can pay for Thurs on the gate

Re: Le Mans Classic

This is who we used back in 2016.

Beer tent, shower block, fenced in camping area, tickets with the pit pass.
Only option we did not take is pre-erected tents from memory.

To save the hassle, i would probably opt for that next time.

How the hell you get the engine bay that clean, with no wires, is brilliant.

Is she gonna wash them dirty feet before she gets in onto that nice clean carpet? ;)
No need to.
I'd hazard a guess that they may well be in the air, not on the floor!! :woot:
