A rare day

It's a rare day in this household when ANY vehicle goes through the MOT spot on. Fortunately it was the Charger so with the nil value tax disc sorted and the MOT paid it's all go for another year. Compare that with the insurance, tax and ongoing bits for a 12 year old Discovery and it seems sometime...

Apart from being another M.I.B (Mopar in Black) that is some piece of kit. Sure would be great to see it at the Nats.

Whilst on the subject of books if you want a fictional good read I recommend the novel 'Not Fade Away' by Jim Dodge. Given his surname you'd think the car in the story would be a Mopar but it's actually about one man's obsession to track down the cadillac owned by the Big Bopper (died in the Buddy H...

Making a plea here for the local Post Office - if you don't use it you'll lose it. I know a lot are waiting for the death knell announcement anyway but it'll have a real impact in Cornwall. So come on guys tax it at the P.O. even if it does mean walking up hill! On a separate note re tax, father in ...

Thing is to me that Sierra just looks like a really bad effort at a photochop 'what would it look like if I did this...'. I don't really like the look of Victors either but at least Red Victor One could seriously move (Google Worlds Fastest Street Legal Car to see it). I remember thinking when I fir...

Err.. Mr Knightcharger Dave and Charlene will have to disagree with your "looks better than a Gold Charger" line. Charlene's the golden girl in question and Dave, well, he's my 6ft 4 weightlifting mate standing by her 8-) Blooming cheek! :P That Sierra is rubbish though...

Different type of Charger required...

Time for plug in power - just charge up your Dodge or Jeep (or insert AAA batteries) and see if it can actually finish a quarter mile :lol:

First time I've heard St Austell referred to as the UN HQ...is that why there's so much demolition going on?!

1=St Austell
2= Treasure Park
3= road to Kea Chruch
4= Grampound wieghbridge (now not functional)
5= Carland Cross

Cheers for having a go. All the best for 2008 :thumbright:

Just to finish this one off: 1= Victoria inn, Roche 2= Burngullow China Clay Driers 3= RAF Portreath 4= Pendower beach 5= Truro Cathedral Miles - hopefully it won't be 70mph winds at Pendower on New Year's Day: that's where we go for what is now a traditional first morning swim...don't ask me why :d...

I'm going to give Darran and Miles a point each here - it's actually Pendower beach so you are both close enough. Watch out if you go surfing off Gerrans next year Miles - you seen the plans to build a massive sub sea wreck as a diving school?

Mad Machs is still in the lead though boys.

Point for Cuda here I think - it was Cornish Goldsmiths but is retitled Treasure Park. Hope I'm not 6 feet under personally for a while yet Latil :D but if the car was parked there again 2 weeks ago she would have been. Get used to the view of bog off wind farms: they will be coming to any open spac...
