Re: Non-start connundrum after a starter relay short
Had this issue with a mates Dodge on Sunday. Same solution as Pete and Blue suggest. Fired straight up with ignition on and shorting the solenoid out. Jeez Dave, what a struggle you’ve had. Well I hope things improve from here. Did you need to use Hughes special lifters? I know they’re good at marketing, but others would be available.

Re: Sticking disc brakes on both sides (Cuda).
Some years ago I fitted a new M/C and booster to my Roadrunner. The discs effectively locked on within a couple of miles. I backed off the pushrod and it was always good after that, so along with the refurbed calipers I’d definitely take Matt’s advice on checking the pushrod. Sorry, just saw your po...

Re: 1976 Dodge D300 Adventurer SE.
Andy, my old Dodge D100 318 truck only did 10-12 mPg with 4:1 rear end. I loved it, but sold it partially due to the shocking mpg.

Re: Vehicle recovery best choice
My Mopar crapped out on me yesterday. Phoned GEM and I was low loaded within 40 mins and taken home. Had the same with my T4 last year. Excellent service.

Re: I assume you’ll all be at the Euronats?
I’m going and will be in my trusty ( I hope) relic of a T4 camper van. Can’t afford to run the Coronet up and now I’ve got something to sleep in instead of a puddle. Gonna head round to my usual spot near the pits road in.
