Re: Guess what?

It was a time to think... Did I want another project that would probably not get finished? Nope.. Did I want to pay a shop to build what I want? Nope... Did I want to take advantage of a project someone else did? Damn, thats the one! Anyone who is interested, here is the build, all done by 2 guys at...

Re: Guess what?

Driving there Derek. We have done it a few times in the past. But not for 3 months. Thought we would try out being snowbirds. Will be spring when we return, so will miss a lot of the cold snowy weather. It is around 24 hrs non stop. But we like to break it up, by visiting different areas on the way ...

Re: Guess what?

It’s tucked away in the garage. Next month we are off to Florida for thee months. Might do a little parts shopping whilst there. Back in the spring to get going again. I had some UK funds left over there. And as the Canadian dollar is really in the Bananarama! the car was a bargain!

Sick week 2023

Decided that next year I will attend Sick Week. So that's it, done and booked! Then while I was looking forward to a week of sun and no snow, thought bugger it! Let's stay down there for 3 months. Done and booked that as well. We do miss that part of the world, as some of you may know, we once had a...

Re: Sick Week.

They had that Volvo coupe? That turned some heads there. Not the sort of car you expect to see at an event like that. But That was an amazing time. The whole scene is really being dominated by the turbo cars now. But some amazing NA cars were running. I am pondering on doing the miles of mayhem this...

Re: Nice to see you....

Just an update.... Motor out, trans out, electrics out, all steering out, suspension out, seats out, crappy dashboard out. Wow, it looked sad! Rebuilt the motor and trans. They are back in. TH350 & SBC350 with Vortec heads. The heads are good for more horsepower, but I really would like a tunnel...

A100 seat alternatives

I did get a pair years go here. But let them go when I sold the A100. Needed some new seats for the Prefect. and fancied a pair of the A100 seats again. Not cheap! So bought a pair of these Smittytbuilt seats. Not exactly the same, but far less expensive, and very comfy! Screen Shot 2022-02-17 at 1....
