Re: Front Calipers

If princess calipers do fit, they are highly sought after - not easy to find and expensive when you do!

John Dodge

Not sure how many of you are aware, but today marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Dodge Brothers co-founder John Dodge.

We should all of us hope be so lucky as to leave such a great and lasting legacy that he did.

I had mine bypassed when the alternator was replaced/upgraded. Just a dash fire waiting to happen.

Re: Dirty 72 Van

I have an identical carb / intake setup on my Demon. Made quite a noticable difference over the stock 2 barrel. I don't think you'll need the spacer. I haven't noticed any hot start issues over the summer and it was quite warm out. Holley just seem to be better for it but the webberbrocks are a sod ...

Don't mind those 308 Dino's.
Must be a bit of a masochist with all those black cars, though. Look great clean but invariably they never are for much longer than an afternoon!

Re: 4 barrel carb swap (finally!)

It might be a bit oversized or need a bit of setting up? You will have to catch and hold it on the pedal if you've just wired the choke to the stop. It shouldn't be consuming more fuel if you're driving it in the same way as when it had the 2 barrel and it's set up properly. Mind you, if you're usin...

Re: 4 barrel carb swap (finally!)

I had to buy a threaded extension for my throttle linkage for the 4 barrel swap. You do need to make sure you get the transmission linkage set up right. This tells the box what line pressure it needs to make and if it's not setup correctly you'll kill the gearbox. It needs to be setup such that when...

Re: Facebook rant

I was cajoled into being one of the admins on the UK Mopars bookface group at the nats this year so I have a little insight as to what goes on behind the scenes... I approve at least 1 person per day to join the group. Sometimes it peaks at as many as a dozen a day. At the very least that shows ther...
