Re: Blue's Valiant
Have a look at the MGB expansion tanks. They are brass under the black paint and a nice oval shape that can be polished up to a mirror finish. I had one chromed a few years back too.

Cracking event. We only managed 1 day this year, but felt that the sparkle that had been lacking the last couple of years was well and truely back. Had a little success with the car following a slew of mods over the last 12 months. We managed to bring our ET down from a glacial 18.4 to a backed up 1...

Re: Banning petrol and diesel cars !
The proposal is to ban sales of new petrol / diesel by 2040. A car has a life cycle of 12 years in theis country so by 2052 you'll start seeing the closing down of a lot of fuel stations. 4 star was phased out a long time ago, but you can still get hold of it if you want it? I reccon we've got about...

Re: How lift the bike ?
Any margin in using something like a sack truck with an extended tongue?
Engage the end of the tongue to a point on the chassis, pivot the truck on the wheels, slide tressel in, take sack truck around the other end, lift in same manor and slide the 2nd tressel in?

That's right Rog, follow the road to the pits past the big radio shed behind the start line. As you round the corner the entrance to the show 'n shine is opposite the gents toilet block.

They might be small for a mopar but they are still a big car over here.
Think of a later 90's Jaguar XJ - same dimensions as the jag but a couple of inches shorter.

Agree with Roger (Nice to catch up on saturday btw!). I've just set up the kickdown linkage on mine and it took me the best part of 2 hours to get it setup in the ballpark as per the instructions and then subsequently adjusted to suit when I upgraded to a 4bbl. It's quite the faff.
