I spent ages checking all the wrong things, ignition etc before I noticed. I freed it with an adjustable spanner, it took quit...

Sorry, I prefer the printed paper version....
I gave Matt the details of a printer who print the Triumph 2000 Register and TR Register magazines at a favourable price.

We read about this in Custom Car, we will probably attend
You might want to avoid the area around Trafalgar Square

We did make Brooklands, left at 3 pm, got to Shakey at 5 pm
Brooklands was the better show, Shakey was maybe 20% full on the Monday compared to the hot rod drags. Good if you wanted to get a lot of track time though. A tailwind was helping times on Monday
335 mile round trip, 1.75 tanks of fuel

We aim to be there, then go onto Shakey at around 3 pm
If anyone fancies a bit of a convoy from Brooklands to Shakey look out for our white 72 Challenger
Do fill up with fuel first to avoid motorway prices
Will go M25 then M40

I will also try to do both, favourite is to go straight from Brooklands to Shakey with the tent and stay Sunday night into Monday - weather permitting. I take it there is still a lot going on bank holiday Monday at Shakey?

It was all over too fast for us Got there for Friday lunch time this year Great variety of cars, although a 'Mopar only' period in the pairing lane would be good in future. We can then watch Mopar against Mopar cause that's the theme of the weekend. Shame it rained for the presentation, but we were ...

Just got the Challenger running today for the fist time since Boxing day Romsey meet. Suregrip now fitted and axle case nicely blasted and painted. New leaf springs were going rusty so they got dismantled, blasted, zinc plated and powder coated. The old Timken bearings had seen better days. Revised ...

Thanks for the diagrams, but it is a different version to mine. The electrical screw in switch has a spring loaded plunger. Must get triggered by a profile on the shuttle. If these use O rings on the shuttle, then they won't be much good after 40 years.... I expect the front and rear lines will leak...

When the wire is disconnected, the light goes off I removed the electric switch and plunged it by hand, the light goes on & off No sign of the internal shuttle going back with a 'Tock' when the switch is removed..... It looks like the second photo in -grey one shown here http://inlinetube.com/Pr...
