Holley Choke plate stuck shut
Has anyone experienced the choke plate sticking shut on a Holley Street Avenger? Mine did, still warm after a half hour drive, then a 1 hour break then wouldn't re start.... I spent ages checking all the wrong things, ignition etc before I noticed. I freed it with an adjustable spanner, it took quit...

Just got the Challenger running today for the fist time since Boxing day Romsey meet. Suregrip now fitted and axle case nicely blasted and painted. Thanks for the diagrams, but it is a different version to mine. The electrical screw in switch has a spring loaded plunger. Must get triggered by a profile on the shuttle. If these use O rings on the shuttle, then they won't be much good after 40 years.... I expect the front and rear lines will leak...
