Re: Matt's 1970 'Trans-Am' Cuda

It's a 2-pack epoxy, solvent free, that is pretty much odourless and sets in a day or so. Rawlins Paints ...

Re: Hoses

Before doing anything else I'd fabricate and fit a fan shroud. The engine may well struggle to cool at idle without one.

And as already suggested:
Set initial timing. My iron-head 440 required 15 degrees, which is not unusual.

Matt's 1970 'Trans-Am' Challenger

OK here we go. Having more-or-less finished the 'Cuda , last February I started to get the urge to build another race car to keep it company. What better than a '70 Challenger ? I placed a wanted ad on here around May 2020, which led to a couple of leads on '70 Challengers - one of which was a 440-p...

Nice pics at the carsradars link . haven't seen most of those before.

Re: Decaying Ekranoplan

A bit of a later era , but an image search for 'abandoned soviet space shuttle' produces great results.

Let alone anything else, that's a bonkers amount of steelwork.

Re: Carrera's latest nascars

Oh yes I’ve seen it ! Been looking in the US for a d300/400/500/600 so that i can build a real one.

That transporter didn’t exist in period afaik, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless .

Re: VH Charger back from the dead

I registered a couple of US imports in 2003 , they came back RBY 762K and RBY 763K I'm not sure how the system works, but I guess your car may have been originally registered slightly before those ? When I re-imported a '68 GTX convertible from Germany many years ago, DVLA gave it back its previous ...
