Pete, I'll trust your better judgement on that :-)

Seriously, the trans tail shaft would need to be the pivotal axis for the engagement to stay the same throughout the arc wouldn't it. Further engagement should occur as the suspension compresses.

Off to get the fat bird :thumbright:

Slip Yoke Enagagement

I have recently replaced my axle in favour of a 9" Fraud. The consequence is that the slip yoke engages approximately 1/4" further into the rear of the trans or at least where the wear mark is - the new position (tail shaft oil seal) is marked yellow. Should I have the prop shortened or am...

Miles, I have experienced similar. I have what I understand to be a stock 383 Hipo motor so the vac is relatively high. I recently put on a brand new Carb from Holley and dialled it in as is out of the box. Thinking that it was a little lean on cruise and seeing what was occurring on the vac gauge I...

To get around my ride height issue and to mock-up preparation for a axle swop, I had contacted Anton to get a pair of hangers made.

They are very well made and are an exact fit. There is plenty of adjustment so has allowed me to set the height I want - thanks Anton :thumbright:

Leccy fans, flex fans, desk fans - you name it, I have tried it...... I wanted to fit a viscous fan, however that requires cutting of the slam panel in an A Body / BB car. To overcome this I have fitted a Jag XJ6 viscous coupling. TrevD made a adaptor although I did have to search about a bit for a ...
