leaky core plug

i had the same plug go on my 318.bottom right hand corner.As will said there may be a lot of crud in the corner of the block which you wont get out by scraping.I got the hose out and flushed mine until the water ran clear.Take out both drain plugs on each side of the block when doing it.

Picked up a couple of nice Franklin Mint models at Sandown toy collectors fair on Saturday.There were a few traders selling them,so there may be a surplus of them at the moment.I paid £120 for all 3 which normally retail about £90 each.The Roadrunner is especially nice.It also comes with a 440-6pak ...

your loss of gauges is almost sure to be the voltage regulator.there is a an easy test for this.connect a voltmeter between ground[neg]and the temperature sender[live] and turn the ignition on. you should see the needle pulse up to 5volts[using analogue meter]if it doesn't it/s faulty.if you buy a n...
