Took a video of valves turning motor by hand but its too big to post from my phone. Had a play after work and I consistently found that a rod 0.161” shorter than what I have seems good. None of the adjusters in the rockers had any thread showing so I removed a rod and wound the adjuster down with fingers to show 1 1/2 to 2 threads protruding.
