There is alot of free movement in them Miles. The shape of the body casting itself prevents the shoes from falling off.

It worked fine Miles.I swapped it out to convert to powersteering which required a shorter coupler.

Mikes I've pulled the one I have apart and that clip isn' t there. All thats inside is the two paddles, two thin shims and the connecting pin.
