Morgan is spot on, it hints at the old car, it is not a copy. Mini is the same, styling cues, not a copy, so is the Beetle, Fiat 500 (love em) and the Mustang. All very clever stuff, and I would like a new one, when (if) they are cheaper and a slightly smaller engine, 6 cyls is enough for most journ...

Holden Commodore VP, cant beat it Kev! Ive had mine 8 years now, 300,000km on the clock and the only engine bit that has needed doing is the crank sensor (if it won't start when hot thats the trouble) and the water pump (£40 from USAutomotive) Never had the engine , box or axle apart. Ive only chang...

Well I've got both Dave. It's nice to hear that I own one of the best handling Mopars ever built. But then Ive never driven many different ones to know the difference. This looked like a great photo shoot / day out. Mark, I bet you're glad you bought your car when you did, a green Cuda wouldn't look...

Dave beat me to it. Wayne the green one is yours the red one is NOT. Your red one always had a 73 grille and marker lights. The be stickered car looks similar to the one that was at Sunshine Classics, but it didnt have stripes or a 71 grille. I saw it a little while aftre it was sold and it had been...

Steve, Dave s right about the six. What we need over here is a properly set up 265 six pack to run a few passes and show what can be done. The book figures were 0-60 (100km/h) 6.3 Secs, 0-100(160km/h) 14.1 secs and standing 1/4 , 14.1 at 166.1km/h (about 101mph). The E49 Charger was the fastest acce...

Dave, Yes , you can reach in just by having the sump all unbolted and laying on the K member. I chocked on the balancer and under the mounts with wood, its much better than a metal stand as it wont slip, because the engine digs into the wood a bit. The mounts alone would be a bit scary as they are o...

Dave, from memory, you dont need to touch the steering at all. I had to change my oil pump about 4 times because of a zero pressure issue that turned out to be something else (missing welch plug on the main gallery behind the timing cover. I think I jacked it up as high as it would go, released the ...
