personally i would use a 950 over an 850 because the 750 base gives you a better signal and shift recovery. Clear as mud that :? :D I agree with Mick assuming he meant 750 instead of 950. Well I have just renewed my subscription for another year. I have too many friends in this club, and even without a car I still want to be a member of the best club of its kind.... Thanks to every that said Hi to me at the EuroNats I didnt see as many as I would have liked but with three days racing...

Yesterdays trip to the timber yard may not have been a wise move, I got up early as I generally do and went to put camera and stuff in the car and both near side tyres are flat as a pancake :( As none of the tyre shops in the town open until 10am on sunday looks like I will be giving this a miss. if the gap is 3/16 put a 3/8th bead in it will seal fine, providing the engine doesn't pressurize and had good crank case breathing cant see it being an issue. I have only ever used the cork gaskets on the stock intake, all the rest had a good bead and sealed fine.

Chuck the cork gaskets in the bin Miles you will never get to seal right, I nice bead of RTV every time on a small block. Also if fitted take out the small dowel pins in the block as they will stop the manifold from seating propley their ok with the factory cast fannymould but no good with aftermark...
